christ’s sake. i was completely blank on what i should blog on. after all, weeks with the psp sucks your life, trust me. since i’m blank, let’s go techie a bit. don’t give me that “you-know-tech?” look, ok? i’m a seasoned pro in counter-strike and it has nothing to do with tech. feel it?

i’m gonna talk bout torrents here, since almost 60% of people don’t know what it is. (i made that up) torrent is a simpler way of acquiring your downloads. a file is broken down to several kBs (beware. 1kb is not equal to 1kB!) and downloaded from several people. the people you download from are called seeders. so, the more seeders, the faster your download will be. how? assume you download a 1GB file, and (let’s say, with god’s almighty will) you have 100+ seeders. if each uploads to you for 10kBps, you have approximately 1MBps at hand. for some places, that’s extremely fast already. to get a torrent running, you need a torrent program. i recommend using utorrent because it is DDDAAAMMMNNN small in size and take very little RAM. navigate to piratebay.org as it is a heaven for torrent files. open the “.torrent” files with utorrent, and voila! you are set to download shit. roughly, that’s how it works. a detailed one will take your life away. keep that in mind.
